Oacubo Committees

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets monthly from October through May, generally in the Central Ohio area. The Executive Committee is charged with making operational decisions on behalf of the Association, including the planning of all professional development events. Members of the Committee are determined according to the By-laws.

Finance Committee

The Finance & Audit Committee is charged with auditing the financial reports of the Association. Members of the committee are appointed by the Executive Committee.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee meets monthly with the Executive Committee. The Committee is charged with identifying the development needs of the Members, determining the time and place to hold seminars or workshops and engaging instructors and presenters for these activities. Members of the committee are appointed by the Executive Committee.

Promotional Committee

The Promotional Committee meets with Executive Committee at the monthly meetings. The Committee is charged with identifying the marketing needs of the Association, including the publication of newsletters several times per year. Members of the committee are appointed by the Executive Committee.

Annual Meeting Host Committee

The Host Committee meets monthly with the Executive Committee. The Host Committee is the liaison between the Executive Committee and the host city conference facility, hotel and banquet facility. Members of the Committee are determined by the Executive Committee and representatives of the Annual Meeting host institution.

Membership and Recruitment Committee

The Membership & Recruitment Committee meets as needed at various locations in Ohio. The Committee is charged with identifying and recruiting new members to the Association. Members of the committee are appointed by the Executive Committee.
